Text Box: Previous litters

Hello Janice and Peter,

Firstly I would like to apologise for not getting this message to you sooner, as we had promised. On the other hand I would like to thank you for breeding such a tremendous collie in Meadow- she is absolutely fabulous and adored by the whole family. She has a superb temperament and obedience is second to none, which in my opinion is testament to your excellent breeding. Meadow is getting plenty of exercise morning and night- she will run for an hour flat out chasing the ball and jumping in the river BUT will still come for more with a tug toy or tennis ball in the house. She is great fun and keeping us all in good shape.

Anyway, I have attached some recent photos- when I get some better ones I shall send them through. If you ever need anyone to vouch for you as a first class breeder feel free to give my number or e-mail address.

Best Wishes,

Matthew, Hannah, Meadow and Family xxx

Hi Jan,

Hope you and your family are keeping well and enjoying what bit of summer weather we do get!  I have been meaning to get round to sending you a mail for some time now to let you know how our puppy we bought from you is getting along.  We named him Colin (Colin the Collie, named by our friends daughter but it does suit him), he will be 1 on the 1st of August and he has grown into a lovely looking collie with a fairly long coat of black and white fur with a fair degree of reddish brown across his back.  He settled in very quickly and has been very well behaved, my main worry when I first got him home was that he may try to wander as it's generally just fields around the house but he knows his boundary's and is very loyal.  He is very sociable with people and has a calm and friendly nature with everyone, and can walk for miles and miles without looking knackered unlike me!  I trained him with a local trainer for 2 months in March and April to walk to heel, sit, stay, come etc and he responded both quickly and well to his training.

He's a great dog in truth and I'm glad we found your website.  I have attached a few photo's for you to take a look at, there are a fewer older one's from around January and some more current one's.

Many thanks,

Neal Fricker

Dear all at Gwynion Dogs,

This is just a quick update on Cariad (Gwynion Sola) she is now six months old, she's doing well in puppy classes.  she has also been introduced to agility equipment she loves the tunnels and loves jumping over small bars, think she is a natural but still too young to join in classes.
She has also got places in a few local country fair shows, she got best puppy and best bitch.
She is a truly lovely family pet, great with children and other small fury pets, its surprising how such a bouncy puppy can be so gentle with a hamster.

I will recommend any friend to buy one of your puppies and will most certainly buy another from you in the future.

I have attached some recent photos.

Regards

Bethan, Mark and Cariad

Hello Janice and Peter.  Thought we would let you know that 'Archie' has settled into our home beautifully.  He loves the garden and his bed in the kitchen.  He follows us around, but not all the time as he seems perfectly happy with his own company.

He is also now fully insured, and we have made an appointment for his first jabs next week. I have found a supplier for Hounda in Gorseinon, so no problems in the food department.

He really is a little star, and is going a long way to helping us cope with the loss of our two wonderful collies George and Henry.

We will send you photos as he grows, and maybe even bring him to see you later on.

Thank you for all your help and advice yesterday.

Regards, Marie,Brian and Archie

Dear Peter and Janice,

It was good to meet you yesterday and to collect our puppy who is a delight! He is such a character and has taken to Westminster life as if he's been here always. The journey was fine, he slept quite a lot of the way and we spent more than 2 hours in our friends' garden, near Newport, which broke up the journey nicely. Jack, as we've called him, slept peacefully in the kitchen all night and he has had a happy day, exploring the big garden a little, meeting one of the Abbey dogs, sleeping, playing and eating and taking everything in his stride! It's lovely to have such a well adjusted puppy, a credit to you and his parents and the way you raise your puppies. I shall send you a photo in due course.

I wonder if you have any more details about his first vaccination? I think my vet will ask for details so if you have any I'd be grateful if you would send them.

Thank you too for the tea and cake, it was nice to have time to chat,

With best wishes,

Leah

Hi Janice & Peter

Skye is now nearly 18 weeks old and doing well, she is quick to learn, has been attending puppu classes and starts puppy flyball next week.

Just thought you'd like to know that Beth entered her for a competition in Dogs Monthly magazine with the first picture I've enclosed and she won, she is featured in the August edition.  However, there is some possible good news for you.  The editor has had some requests from readers asking where she came from due to her unusual colourings.  Hope you don't mind but we have passed on your website address which he will pass onto interested readers, I also think he was going to put something in the September issue, so you may get a few more enquiries.

Hope you like the pics

Hi Janice and Peter,

Ruby's first year of life has gone so fast, she has grown into a lovely companion who is very happy and  friendly to

everyone she meets. A true family member who enjoys all that is asked of her, she has settled in to our way of life

with ease.

Ruby loves her walks to the woods every day, to play with her ball and chase squirrels, she is also just as happy having a

family day out with the grandchildren or coming on holiday with us whether it is the country side, beach or walking on the

coastal paths.

Ruby has gone to dog training classes most of her life starting with puppy classes and has now moved up to the next

class where she has achieved a companion bronze award. We are now working towards her kennel club good citizen

Hi Janice and Peter

Just a quick update on how Bailey is.

He survived the journey here and made himself at home almost instantly. The cats tolerate him shall we say but he is very good around them and will come away when called.

He is such an intelligent dog – he’s already got the understanding of sit, fetch, drop and No. We have been practising walking on a lead ready for big walks.

He’s met our vet ( who has fallen in love with him) and received his second vaccination with no fuss.

He has really fitted in well and is a delightful addition to our family. Everyone who has met him has commented on his colour and his playful character. He is smashing around the boys and enjoys playing with them.

We are planning on attending puppy training classes with him and possibly look into agility classes just to keep him active – or should I say keep us active.

Will send you photos soon

Hope you are both well

Regards

Hello!

We thought we would update you with how Harvey is getting along!  He has settled in really well...he only whimpered for a bit on the 1st night and that was it!  He loves our other dog (the springer) and tries very hard to sneak up on him and bite his paws!  Harvey is a real mummy's boy and is very attached to Charlie.  He loves to play but also loves to snuggle up on her and sleep. He is a really clever puppy and has learned to sit, give the paw and lie down on command!  Great for a 9 week old puppy!  We introduced him to our vets the other day to have him microchipped - they fell in love with him and he came home with a free toy! :) I have included a couple of photos of him so far (from the first week)...we will make sure we keep updating you with his progress!  He is growing really quickly and loves his food!  We also got a kitten for him to play with (Basil) and the two of them get on really well!

Take care,

Simon Taylor.

Hi Janice and Peter.

Sorry it has taken so long but I thought I would send you an email and some pictures of Dexter so you can see how he is coming on. He is a much loved member of the family adored by both the children and us. We have had no real problems with him and the kids as you will see from from the photo's, infact we have to tell Archie (18 month old boy) off for biting dexter!!! but he is as good as gold and does not nip back. We regulary take him for a walk with some friends dogs and he is becoming very sociable.

Thanks again for helping us with the perfect adition to our family.

I have attached some photos for you to see

Tom and KimHi Janice and Peter,

Just a quick update for you, our dog Charlie is nearly 2. He is a fantastic dog and we have loved every minute he has been here. He has hiked all over England and Wales and climbed mountains with us. I have sent some pictures so you can see how much he looks like his mum!!!

We are thinking of getting a companion bitch for him after christmas and were wondering if you are planning any litters that will be ready for either Feb or April.

I look forward to hearing from you soon

Just a quick update on Cariad (Gwynion Sola) she will be 2 Christmas time. Hasn’t time flown? She is still doing fab at obedience, we decided to take her out of agility and concentrate on obedience. She is a fabulous dog, we couldn’t ask any more of her, she is very sociable with other dogs and all the local children love her. She is a true gem, all being a very spoilt gem. Most people refer to her as the Princess rather than Cariad, including her obedience trainers and she certainly lives up to it. I have attached a couple of photos.

Thanks again

Bethan, Mark and Cariad.

Hello Peter and Janice,

We thought that you might like an update and picture of Poppy, the puppy I picked up from you back in January (just after we had all that snow!). We have attached a picture taken of her in the spring, as you can see she has matured into a fantastically well adjusted and friendly dog. Each tine we check out your website we think that she is getting more and more like her dad! She likes nothing more than epxpending her abundant energy on chasing a ball, preferably through the river Plym. She is now very much an integral part of our family and we already feel that our home wouldn't be the same without her. We happen to be visiting Swansea next week to see family and would love the opportunity to bring her up to show you some time (if that is ok).

We bought a border collie puppy from you in February of this year.  He is now 9 months old.  We absolutely adore him, he gets along great with our son and he is great to go walking with.  He is learning how to play frisbee and is picking it up easily.  We are looking at getting another border collie, we would like a red female if one becomes available.

Thank you

Hi Janice & Peter,

Our puppy Ruby is almost 6 months old and has settled in very well and is very much part of the family. She is attending puppy school and is coming along nicely, she is one of the top dogs and is sociable and friendly. We are always being stopped by people to say what a beautiful pup she is. She has made us very happy and we can't put into words what she means to us.

Please see attached photos

Kind Regards,

Ruth & Mike Kelly

Just a quick note to say thankyou so much for letting us have 'Frankie'.Whilst he wasn't too happy at the start of the journey home,he has settled in amazingly well...He had a really good night and is eating good meals. All the kids are besotted and it seems to be mutual...!Will send pics next week but just wanted to let you know all is well.

Kind regards,

Laura and Eric

Hi Janice and Peter,

Just a quick note to let you know that Jones passed his KC Good Citizen Bronze Award this week and was the youngest dog (at just less than 6 months old) to do it so far.

He is coming on so well with obedience that I am going to ultimately compete at obedience as well as Agility with him, he starts Agility training in the Spring and will continue the obedience along side.

He is a fabulous dog!

I attach a few pictures but they are not clear so I will get some clearer ones sent when I can.
